We have some amazing clients here at Peterlee Pets. But we care passionately about ALL animals and their welfare. After noticing on social media just how many pets are lost and found in the East Durham area, we wanted to add this page to try and raise awareness. Even if one pet owner sees our ads and is reunited with their pet it's worth it. Contact us if you have lost or found an animal and we will list it here and on our Facebook page. If a pet goes missing, or is unclaimed for over 24 hours, please ring Durham dog warden 01913 78 04 39 or Stray Aid (even if it's a cat or other animal) on 0300 999 4247 for advice.

If any animal needs medical attention there are a number of vets in the area including Clifton Lodge in Peterlee (0191 5869783) or Roker Park Veterinary Centre in Seaham (0191 516 0056). 

Reporting cruelty or abuse

If you know or suspect an animal is being abused or treated cruely, or is in distress please don't delay ringing the RSPCA on their 24 hour number 0300 1234 999, their lives may depend on it.
